Blog – MSU, LSU to kick off in prime time on ESPN


Mississippi State’s first home game of 2015 may be one to remember.

The Bulldogs host LSU in week two and the contest will be in prime time. It was announced Thursday that the Bulldogs and Tigers will kick at 8:15 p.m. on ESPN.

MSU went to Baton Rouge, Louisiana last season and beat LSU 34-29 to get Southeastern Conference play underway 1-0.

MSU’s week three home game against Northwestern State will start at 3 p.m. on the SEC Network.

The Bulldogs will play at Missouri Thursday, Nov. 5 and that game is slated for 8 p.m. on ESPN.

MSU will get the season underway against Southern Miss in Hattiesburg Sept. 5. Kick for that game was announced earlier this summer and the two teams will be kicking off past many people’s bed times. The Bulldogs and Golden Eagles will play at 9 p.m. on Fox Sports 1.

Other game times will be announced as the season progresses.
