Former Mississippi State football player Charles Siddoway plead guilty to grand larceny during the Oktibbeha County Circuit Court’s April-May term.
He was sentenced to a 5-year suspended sentence to the Mississippi Department of Corrections, five years probation and a $500 fine on April 27.
Siddoway and fellow teammate Jordan Washington were arrested by the Oktibbeha County’s Sheriff’s Department on April 23, 2014 on suspicion of residential burglary and robbery by threats after they broke into an apartment at 21 Apartments on Blackjack Road.
According to the court documents, Siddoway took four pairs of Air Jordan retro tennis shoes, a PlayStation 3 video game console, a pair of Timberland boots, 15 hats, a fake gold chain and one black book bag. Documents showed the value of the items stolen was more in excess of $1,000, but less than $5,000.
Siddoway was an offensive tackle and was a National Football League Draft hopeful after completing his senior season in 2013. He went undrafted.
