Former Mississippi State University defensive back Jamerson Love was one of two people Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department arrested in a Thursday evening domestic violence incident.

OCSD Chief Deputy Chadd Garnett said deputies responded at 6:02 p.m. Thursday to a call at 79 Inverness Road.
Garnett said upon arrival, deputies found a Love standing with his head in the window of Destini Jones’ white Toyota. He said both were separated.
Deputies found that both Jones and Love had marks on them and were both charged with simple domestic violence and booked in Oktibbeha County jail. Both have posted out on $500 bond.
Love played in all 13 games during his senior season. He recorded 34 tackles, three tackles for loss and nine pass breakups.
He is hoping to be drafted in the upcoming NFL Draft. He participated in MSU’s pro day last month in preparation of the draft.
