Blog – Defense picks it up in second spring scrimmage for MSU (with video)

Mississippi State’s defense made sure there coordinator had some good things to talk about this week.

After struggling in the first scrimmage of the spring last week, first-year defensive coordinator Manny Diaz called the performance a “butt kicking” for his defense against the Bulldog offense.

The defense played better in the second scrimmage of the spring at Davis Wade Stadium on Saturday.
