Blog – MSU women ready to head to Durham

The Mississippi State women’s basketball team opens the NCAA Tournament Friday in Durham, N.C.

The No. 5 seed Bulldogs (26-6) play No. 12 seed Tulane.

MSU head coach Vic Schaefer and senior Kendra Grant spoke to the media on Tuesday.

Schaefer said freshman Victoria Vivians is fine after having a bandage on her thumb in the SEC Tournament. He said they pulled the rest of the finger nail off and Vivians is fine.
