Mississippi State’s Benardrick McKinney and Ben Beckwith were honored as All-Americans by the Associated Press on Tuesday.
McKinney was a second team selection, while Beckwith was a third team selection.
It is the the third All-American honor for McKinney. The Tunica native was a second team pick by the Walter Camp Foundation and was a first team selection by ESPN.com.
He finished the regular season with 61 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, three sacks, four pass breakups, four passes defended, three quarterback hurries, three recovered fumbles and one forced fumble.
He is expected to make a decision about either entering the NFL draft or coming back for his senior season after the bowl game.
Beckwith was the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week three times this season and earned several all-conference honors for his play this year.
