Blog – MSU drops in the polls after loss to Bama

After spending a school-record five weeks at the top of the polls, Mississippi State dropped on Sunday.

The Bulldogs (9-1, 5-1) lost 25-20 to Alabama Saturday afternoon at Bryant-Denny Stadium and the polls showed that.

MSU dropped to No. 4 in both the Associated Press and Amway Coaches polls.

Alabama rose to No. 2 in both polls.
