Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott had a career-high 331 passing yards and the top-ranked Bulldogs rallied from down 10-0 to beat Arkansas 17-10 Saturday night at Davis Wade Stadium.
The Bulldogs made a 4th and goal stand with just over five minutes left in the game and Will Redmond picked off a Brandon Allen pass in the end zone with 15 seconds left to seal the win.
Prescott hit a wide open Fred Ross on a broken play with 13:21 left for a 69-yard game-winning touchdown.
The Bulldogs are 8-0 overall for the first time since 1999 and are 5-0 in the Southeastern Conference, guaranteeing a winning league record for the first time since 1999. MSU has won 11 in a row dating back to last year.
MSU held Arkansas (4-5, 0-5) running backs Alex Collins and Jonathan Williams to 93 and 47 rushing yards respectively.
