Blog – Mullen expects Justin Senior back for Saturday

Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen expects starting right tackle Justin Senior to be back at practice this week.

The sophomore missed all of last week’s practices after having his knee scoped for precautionary reasons.

“The trainers told me he should be back today,” Mullen said at his weekly press conference Monday. “They expect him to be 100 percent come Saturday.”

Senior played against LSU two weeks ago, but the injury to the knee didn’t not occur against the Tigers. It was in an earlier game.

The Bulldog offensive line is already thin this week, with starting center Dillon Day suspended for “unsportsmanlike acts” in the LSU game. Senior Ben Beckwith is expected to start in Day’s stead.
