Blog – MSU Monday look: polls, game time

After a big win over then-No. 8 LSU on the road, the Mississippi State Bulldogs get a bye this week.

There was no Dan Mullen press conference Monday, but we will talk to him on Tuesday.

The win over the Tigers also pole vaulted the Bulldogs into the polls. They enter the Associated Press poll as the No. 14 team in the nation and the USA Today Coaches poll as the No. 16 team.

MSU’s Oct. 4 game against No. 6 Texas A&M at Davis Wade Stadium was announced Monday as an 11 a.m. kick on ESPN.
