Infielder Kyle Hann has left the Mississippi State baseball program, a team spokesperson confirmed Tuesday morning.
Hann played two seasons for the Bulldogs, appearing in 38 games. The Ontario, Canada native made 13 starts in those two seasons, and received a medical redshirt after playing in just 12 games as a sophomore.
He had just one hit this past spring, but batted .219 as a true freshman in the Bulldogs’ run to College World Series National Championship series.
According to Perfect Game’s Kendall Rogers, Hann has transferred to St. John’s River Community College in Florida. Former MSU player Will Coggin is an assistant coach there.
