Play of the game: Alabama got a pair of solo home runs from Mikey White and Ben Moore which proved to be the difference in the game.

Big inning: 6th & 8th: Wes Rea grounded out and flew out with two runners on respectively. He was inches shy of getting a double in the 8th but it was called foul.

Top Dawg: Seth Heck: He led the Bulldogs with two hits and had a RBI groundout.

What it means: MSU finishes the season third in the SEC West and tied with South Carolina for fourth overall. They earn the No. 5 seed in next week’s SEC Tournament. They will play No. 12 seed Georgia Tuesday night in a single elimination game.
