Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen talked to the media Saturday afternoon after the Bulldogs completed their fourth spring practice.
The first week is in the books and the Bulldogs have been in full pads just two days.
Here are a couple of notes from Saturday’s practice:
Senior defensive lineman Kaleb Eulls, senior defensive lineman P.J. Jones and sophomore tight end Gus Walley were in the pit (guys who don’t go through practice due to injury or a rehab of some kind).
During the 11-on-11 part of practice, Will Redmond picked off Dak Prescott and took it to the end zone for a touchdown. Jamerson Love did the same thing.
During the skeleton passing drills, Robert Johnson and Joe Morrow both burn their corners for great catches. Johnson took his into the end zone. Cornerbacks Taveze Calhoun and Jahmere Irvin-Sills both had pass breakups.
The Bulldogs will be back at practice on Tuesday. It’s open to the public and starts at 4:15 p.m.
