Mississippi State junior left hander Ross Mitchell was selected as the co-Pitcher of the Week along with Missouri junior righty Brett Graves.
Mitchell made two appearances over the weekend, one against Michigan State and the other against Eastern Illinois.
He picked up the win against the Spartans when he pitched 6 2/3 innings of shutout ball in relief as the Bulldogs came from behind to win.
He pitched seven innings the entire weekend and the Spartans and Panthers hit just .091 against him.
Tennessee’s Will Maddox was named the Player of the Week after blasting a three-run home run. He also had two doubles.
Auburn right hander Keegan Thompson was Freshman of the Week after pitching a one-hitter against Presbyterian in a 3-0 win on Saturday.
