Blog – MSU moves in polls, stays steady in another

After taking two out of three from Western Carolina to start the 2014 baseball campaign, the Mississippi State Bulldogs climbed in two polls and stayed stead in another.

Mississippi State stayed at No. 2 in Collegiate Baseball’s poll. The Bulldogs moved from No. 8 to No. 7 in Baseball America’s and entered the top five in Perfect Game’s by move from No. 6 to No. 5.

Virginia was at the top of the Baseball America’s and Perfect Game’s poll. Cal State Fullerton topped Collegiate Baseball’s poll.

The Bulldogs were the highest ranked Southeastern Conference in Perfect Game’s and Collegiate Baseball. South Carolina was ranked No. 5 in Baseball America’s poll.
