Top Dawg: Fred Thomas: The sophomore guard sat on the first game for a NCAA violation, but had a good return. He was 4-of-8 from behind the 3-point arc and played well.

Stats: Boxscore

Quote of the game:

“I thought they saw the record and the name and just thought it was add water, stir and blowout win.” – MSU head coach Rick Ray said of his team’s mindset early in the game.

Song to describe game: Fireflies by Owl City – The Bulldogs were able to down the Owls. Not one of my favorite songs, but it’s kind of catchy.

Video: I was unable to upload my videos. My apologies. I will have them after the next game.

What it means: The Bulldogs are 2-0 and are playing good early on in the season. Ray has a better team on his hand this season.
