One big thing to watch: Will LSU have a hangover. The Tigers are coming off a heartbreaking loss to Georgia. It will be interesting to see how they come out and play, still thinking of the loss, or ready to move on. If they are not playing up to LSU standards, MSU needs to take advantage.
Gameday surprise: READ THIS ONE IF RUSSELL STARTS: Tyler Russell will be making his first start at quarterback since week one. He suffered a concussion against Oklahoma State and has been sidelined ever since. Backup Dak Prescott was playing in Russell’s stead.
READ THIS ONE IF DAK STARTS: MSU head coach Dan Mullen was vague about who was going to start at quarterback, but also mentioned Tyler Russell would be the starter after the Troy game. Dak is getting his fourth-consecutive start of the season.
Defensive coordinator Geoff Collins
Junior wide receiver Jameon Lewis
Pregame song(s): Everybody Knows by Ryan Adams and the Cardinals – This is off of their Easy Tiger album. Fitting I think. I hope you enjoy.
