Pregame song(s): Brick House by the Commodores

Vanderbilt is obviously the Commodores, so why not. One of the better one by the band. I’m sure Bulldog fans are hoping they don’t run into a brick house, rather they are the brick house Vanderbilt runs in to.

One big thing to watch: The Bulldogs were swept by the Commodores in the regular season in Nashville, Tenn. The Bulldogs would not like to make it 0-4. With a win No. 5 seed MSU advances to the SEC Tournament Championship game against LSU. The No. 2 seed Tigers beat the No. 3 seed Arkansas Razorbacks 3-1. With a loss, the Bulldogs head home and await their fate in the NCAA Tournament. The No. 1 seed Commodores would move on to face LSU in the championship game.

Game one recap: 17th-inning walkoff: Slauter’s bloop hit gives MSU a victory

Game two recap: Getting job done late: Rea’s ninth-inning single helps Bulldogs get 5-3 win

Game three recap: Frazier leads Bulldogs: MSU junior shortstop has four hits in victory
