Pregame song(s): Hold My Hand by Hootie and the Blowfish Hootie and the Blowfish were formed at the University of South Carolina, and Darius Rucker (Hootie) is a huge Gamecock fan. One of my favorite songs by the band. I got to see Darius sing it live when he came to the MSU Amphitheater a few years ago.

One big thing to watch: The Bulldogs are coming off a 17-inning victory over Missouri last night. The Bulldogs may be tired, or they may use the marathon win as a boost. The Gamecocks are playing their first game in the tournament. The Bulldogs took two out of three from South Carolina in Starkville last weekend. The Gamecocks may be out for revenge and the Bulldogs may use those victories in their advantage. The loser plays the No. 1 seed Vanderbilt Commodores in game two tomorrow and the winner gets the No. 9 seed Texas A&M Aggies in the final game of the day. The Aggies beat the Commodores 5-0 in the third game of the day.
