Songs About Rain by Gary Allan

Damn the Rain by The Randy Rogers Band

Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain by Willie Nelson

Yep, you guessed it. It was a rainy afternoon here in Starkville. The radar “looks” clear for the rest of the night. The rain came back at around 4:50 after I filmed this video of Dudy Noble Field, but it didn’t rain long.

One big thing to watch: Postseason positioning: According to Baseball America’s Aaron Fitt, “Mississippi State is one win away from effectively clinching a regional hosting spot.” The Bulldogs have two shots at getting that final win and it starts tonight. A sweep of the Gamecocks, and the Bulldogs would earn the No. 4 seed in the SEC Tournament and a first round bye next week in Hoover, Ala.
