Blog – Bulldogs move up in polls

The Mississippi State Bulldogs (36-13, 13-11) saw their stock rise in the college baseball polls after sweeping Alabama this weekend in Starkville.

The Bulldogs used two walk-off extra innings win to sweep their second Southeastern Conference series of the season.

MSU moved from No. 17 to No. 14 in the Perfect Game poll, the Bulldogs only moved up one spot in the Baseball America poll from No. 22 to No. 21 and MSU moved four spots from No. 28 to No. 24 in the Collegiate Baseball poll.

MSU is now third in the SEC Western division and fourth overall in the SEC.
